Most of the homes in WestPointe Manor are stucco homes with a nice mixture of one and two story homes. There are Pueblo style homes and pitched roof homes. The lots in the neighborhood are medium size. The houses and the yards are well maintained and the neighborhood is very quiet.
School children Westpointe Manor go to Ventana Ranch Elementary school, Tony Hillerman Middle School and Volcano Vista High Schools. Tony Hillerman and Volcano Vista are newer schools; Hillerman opened in 2009 and Volcano Vista opened in 2007. Ventana Ranch Elementary opened in 2004. There is also a new elementary school in the neighborhood, Tierra Antigua, so be careful to check with APS to determine where your child might go.

Westpointe Manor is located in the southwestern part of Ventana Ranch near Rainbow and Paseo del Norte for an easy commute across town. Unser Blvd is the main traffic artery to Rio Rancho and south to Interstate 40. There's also easy access to Double Eagle Airport and Interstate 40 west on Paseo del Norte and Paseo del Volcan.
