Los Lunas Rail Runner Station/Bosque Coffee Roasters

I was down in Los Lunas NM this morning showing equestrian properties. I saw a few nice homes, then on the way back I stopped at the Los Lunas Rail Runner Station.

The NM Rail Runner has 8 northbound departures from the Los Lunas station on weekdays.

Railrunner service to Los Lunas began in December 2006.

The station was completed after that, and this was the first chance I had to stop by and check it out.

When I saw the words "Coffee Shop," I knew I had to peek inside. What I found was two really nice people working on getting the lunch menu together. It smelled really yummy!

If I had more time and if I hadn't had a big breakfast I would have sat down and had a bite at Bosque Coffee Roasters.

Los Lunas is located south of the Albuquerque metro area, but it's only about 20 minutes from the south gate of Kirtland AFB. Many military families choose to relocate to Los Lunas because of the easy commute, but also because of the newer homes available there at great prices.

One of my favorite areas is located just east of I25. Celebration at Fiesta and Buena Vista de los Cerritos are two adjoining subdivisions built by Pulte Homes. Most of the homes here are under 5 years old. The homes are larger, many are located on larger lots, and when Pulte was building they offered a good number of standard upgrades.

Prices have declined in Los Lunas like they have in the entire Albuquerque Metro area. That's unfortunate for the owners, but it's great news if you are looking to buy! Right now you can purchase a beautiful 3,754square foot Pulte Madrid Floor Plan in the low 200's.
